‘India please help’ – Kevin Pietersen makes urgent plea after misplacing PAN Card, IT Department responds

Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen recently sought urgent help from India after he misplaced his PAN Card. Pietersen, who is a regular traveller to India, took to his Twitter to inform about the mishappening, while also tagging Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the tweet. The Income Tax Department was quick to take notice of his issue as they responded to the cricketer.

“INDIA PLEASE HELP, I’ve misplaced my PAN card & traveling Mon to India but need the physical card for work. Can some PLEASE PLEASE direct me to someone who I can contact asap to help me?” Pietersen tweeted. He also tagged India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet.

The Income Tax Department was quick to take notice of his issue as they responded to the cricketer. In reply, Pietersen acknowledged the help and informed them that he has emailed the department all the necessary details needed to take his case foward.

“Dear @KP24, We are here to help you. If you have your PAN details with you, please visit these links for the procedure to apply for reprint of physical PAN Card,” the Twitter handle of Income Tax India said in its post.

“Fabulous. Thank you! I’ve emailed you. I’ve also followed you so someone can DM me so I can speak to you please?,” Pietersen wrote in response to the tweet of the official handle.

Pietersen was recently active in the Legends League Cricket held in Oman, where his team World Giants ended up winning the inaugural edition of the tournament. The former batter was in top form as he lit up the league with some sensational knock at the top of the order, rolling back clocks.
