Erling Haaland’s arrival to the Premier League has left fans salivating in what is turning out to be the best signing of the season for the league. He set the footballing world on fire with two sensational goals in the first match itself.
The Swedish striker linking with assist king Kevin de Bruyne is also something that the fans have been looking forward to. In the first match itself, the two were seen forming a formidable link with each other. De Bruyne provided the assist for Haaland’s second goal something that we will see more of in the future.
Recently, the fans got a taste of Haaland’s and De Bruyne’s on-field bond on social media when the two got into a hilarious exchange on Instagram.
Haaland posted a picture of him at a restaurant looking at the menu with the caption, “About to order the whole menu.” De Bruyne who is quite straightforward and serious on the pitch came up with a cheeky reply and said, “you want me to hold the menu and assist you?”
Haaland in his usual quirky self replied, “Kevin De Bruyne Yes I’m dreaming of it every night don’t know why.”

Manchester City dominated West Ham in the first match
In their first match, Manchester City defeated a strong West Ham side thanks to Haaland’s two goals in each half. In the dying embers of the first half, Haaland won a penalty and scored it in an emphatic fashion. In the second he latched onto a De Bruyne pass to open up his body and score at the far post in his usual style. The new season of the English Premier League kicked off on August 6th.
The two will be in action against Bournemouth in their second match of the Premier League on 13th August at the Etihad Stadium.
