‘I’ll go with…’- Jason Holder picks three Indian batsmen in his dream hat-trick in International cricket

Jason Holder has picked one hat trick in his international cricket career. The 31-year-old claimed four wickets of Chris Jordan, Sam Billings, Adil Rashid, and Saqib Mahmood in four successive deliveries against England in a T20 match in January this year.

However, when asked about his dream hat trick, Holder gave a different set of names. In an interaction with ESPN Cricinfo, Jason Holder picked India’s formidable trio of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli as his dream hat-trick in international cricket.

“I’ll go, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul,” he told ESPNcricinfo.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul have been the pillar of India’s batting unit for many years. The trio has scored a plethora of runs in international cricket and picking wickets of three batters in three consecutive deliveries would be no less than a dream for any bowler. Holder too had no second thoughts on that. The West Indies all-rounder was also asked about the toughest bowler he has bowled to. To that, Holder said,

“The most difficult batter I have ever bowled to, full stop, is AB de Villiers. Whether that be in a Test match, One Day game or T20,” Holder said.

Notably, AB de Villiers has a great record against Jason Holder. The South African legendary star has scored 185 runs in 117 balls against Holder in international cricket.

Jason Holder was part of the West Indies squad that, recently, played a two-match Test series against Australia. He performed miserably with the ball, having managed to pick only 1 wicket across four innings in 2 Tests. With the bat, all he could manage for 41 runs.

In his Test cricket career so far, Holder has played 58 Tests, picking 143 wickets at an average of 29.4. Besides, he has played 131 ODIs and 49 T2oIs, claiming 153 and 51 wickets, respectively.
