2 Usman Khawaja – The left-handed opener made a sensational comeback to his national side after two years and four months. Khawaja finished as the third-highest run-scorer of the year with 1080 runs in 20 innings at an average of 67.50 having four hundreds and five fifties to his name.
3 Babar Azam – The Pakistan captain had a remarkable year in Test cricket as he finished as the highest run-getter of the year scoring 1170 runs in 16 innings at an average of 73.12 with four hundreds and five fifties to his name.

5 Jonny Bairstow – The England star showed a tremendous return to form this year scoring 1061 runs in 19 innings at an average of 66.31 and a good strike rate of 76. He has six hundreds and one fifty to his name.
6 Rishabh Pant (wk) – The wicketkeeper batter had another remarkable year with the bat scoring 680 runs in 12 innings at an average of 68.81 and a sensational strike rate of 90.90. The 25-year-old has 29 dismissals to his name in seven matches this year.
7 Ben Stokes (Captain) – The England captain had a remarkable as a skipper winning 9 matches out of 10. He also scored 870 runs at an average of 36.25 having two hundreds and four fifties to his name.

9 Kagiso Rabada – The Proteas speedster finished as the highest wicket-taker of the year having 47 wickets to his name at an average of 22.25 having two-five wicket hauls to his name.
10 Nathan Lyon – The Aussie spinner has the most number of wickets in terms of spinners this year and third highest overall as he dismissed 44 batters in 18 innings at an average of 29.72 with three-five wicket hauls.
11 James Anderson – The 40-year-old veteran is getting better with age as he had another stellar year with the ball. Anderson scalped 36 wickets in 17 innings at an average of 19.80 with one five-wicket haul to his name.
