Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh couldn’t stop laughing after a hilarious video of star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin went viral on social media during India’s match against Zimbabwe. Even though the focus was on India captain Rohit, veteran Ashwin managed to capture the attention of netizens with his amusing behaviour. At the toss, Team India skipper Rohit was interacting with legendary West Indies cricketer Ian Bishop, while his teammate Ashwin was spotted sniffing his jacket in the background.

Ashwin also made an appearance at the MCG in the final Super 12 match of the 20-20 World Cup between India and Zimbabwe. The star spinner took crucial wickets of Ryan Burl, Wellington Masakadza, and Richard Ngarava as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 115 in 17.2 overs while chasing a difficult total of 186-5 at the MCG.
Ashwin took three wickets and allowed 22 runs in four overs. On Sunday, half-centuries from opener KL Rahul (51) and middle-order Suryakumar Yadav (61*) propelled India to a 71-run victory over Zimbabwe. Suryakumar, the star batter, was named Player of the Match. With the victory, India has topped Group 2 and will face England in the second semi-final of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. On Thursday, India will face the Jos Buttler-led side at the Adelaide Oval.
In the meantime, Virat Kohli’s form in the tournament has been the biggest positive for the Indian team. The Former Indian captain has scored 246 runs in five innings at an excellent average of 123. He also has a respectable strike rate of nearly 140, with three half-centuries. The star batter would want to continue his form in the knockout games.
