Over the weekend, India conducted a conference for international leaders in its capital city of Delhi to conclude its term as the G20 presidency successfully. Following the successful occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed the presidency over to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva via his social media accounts. Following the summit’s success, a number of Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, and others, congratulated PM Modi on India’s successful G20 presidency on Twitter (now X).

Bollywood for PM Narendra Modi:

Shah Rukh Khan, who is enjoying the tremendous success of his most recent film, Jawan, wrote a touching message for PM Modi on Twitter on Sunday. The actor posted a video from Prime Minister Modi showing foreign leaders attending the event. Shah Rukh posted on his social media, “Congratulations to Hon. PM @narendramodi ji for the accomplishment of India’s G20 Presidency and for promoting international cooperation for the benefit of people everywhere. Every Indian now feels a feeling of dignity and pride due to it. Sir, we will thrive under your direction not in solitude but in Oneness. One Family, One Future, One Earth” 

Akshay Kumar, who just obtained Indian citizenship, wrote a post in which he praised Prime Minister Modi for holding the G20 presidency on behalf of India. He said, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam has been demonstrated to be the reality of the new world order by India’s leadership. We hold our heads high today as proud Indians. We appreciate everyone who helped us feel like kings and queens, including you, Modi Ji. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.”

Amitabh Bachchan also celebrated the historic event by describing India’s president as a “Quantum leap into the forefront of the world” on Twitter. Anil Kapoor praised the enormous success of India’s G20 leadership and gave PM Modi his highest praise for his unceasing efforts in the pursuit of a brighter future for people worldwide.”
