Following Team India’s shocking 10-wicket loss to England in the 20-20 World Cup 2022 semifinals, the Indian Cricket Board has decided to fire all selectors. Chetan Sharma was the selection panel’s chairman, but he is no longer a member of the committee.

In a press release, the board urged former Indian cricketers to apply for the positions. However, there are some eligibility requirements that applicants must meet. The most important is that they should not be older than 60 years old. They should have retired from cricket five years ago, and they should have played at least seven Test matches / 30 First Class matches / 10 ODIs, and 20 First Class matches.

In this article, we will look at four such cricket experts who regularly share their thoughts on the game and may be appointed to the selection committee.
