Former UFC fighter Marnus Perez has claimed that he has been offered three times more money than fighting in the UFC. The Brazilian plays for Viscardi Andrade Team and is 34 years old. Even though he didn’t have the best of starts this year, he has said that he doesn’t care much about the money and loves the fight.
He added that he is very competitive and loves to win games. The 34-year-old further added that doing well in the new competition ,ight open a few doors for him in the MMA.
“I told him I’m a MMA fighter and I’ll fight anything,” Perez explained to MMA fighting. “[Masvidal] said, ‘I’ll offer you this much for a boxing match.’ I was like, ‘What? More than I was making in the UFC? I’m in. Let’s do it.’ It’s good money, but my focus is on beating the guy.”
“I’m very competitive in everything I do and I want to win,” Perez continued. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m going there to win. Maybe that will open doors for me in MMA as well, sure, but I have to win.”
