Big names in the coaching staff
The team’s head coach will be Andy Flower, who was part of Multan Sultans in the PSL last year. Sultans won their maiden title after lagging behind in the tournament at one stage. Apart from him, Gautam Gambhir has been appointed as the mentor of the team. Gambhir was part of the Indian team which won the 20-20 World Cup 2007 and 2011 World Cup. He also led the Kolkata team to two titles in 2012 and 2014. All these experienced coaches will help Lucknow outclass other teams strategically.Â
 Quality Bowling Attack
The team had signed leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi ahead of the auction. During the auction, they bought the likes of Avesh Khan, Ankit Rajpoot, Dushmanta Chameera, Shahbaz Nadeem and Mohsin Khan. Most of these players are experienced in the ITL. The likes of Jason Holder, K Gowtham and other all-rounders can also be very useful
