He is currently the tournament’s leading wicket-taker and is likely to remain so. So far in the tournament, Nortje has taken 18 wickets in 10 games. He also has an economy rate of slightly more than 6.3 runs per over.

#3 Jos Buttler- Paarl Royals

#2 Roelof van der Merwe- Sunrisers Eastern Cape

Roelof van der Merwe, the veteran bowler for the Sunrisers Eastern Cape, has been at his best in the tournament. He has taken 16 wickets in nine appearances, making him one of the tournament’s leading wicket-takers. He is the only bowler this season to have taken five wickets in a single game while also being extremely economical (5.33). Van der Merwe has a chance to overtake Nortje as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker in the final.

Klaasen has scored 360 runs at an average of over 60 and a strike rate close to 165 in the 10 appearances for his team. He will surely be in consideration for the player of the tournament award in the tournament.
