Famous TV presenter Bear Grylls has expressed his wish to go on an adventure with former India skipper Virat Kohli. Fans might remember the former for the famous TV show ‘Man vs Wild’. The show is all about how to survive in a difficult situation in a forest. Over the years, the show has been famous across the globe among different age groups.

In the last few years, Grylls’ popularity increased a thousand folds in India as he shot the episodes with the likes of India Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Apart from the duo, the Britisher has gone on to shoot with different celebrities across the globe. Meanwhile, the famous TV presenter said that Kohli will be an amazing person to go on an adventure with.

The 48-year-old added that Virat is ‘a true heart of a lion and kind spirit’.

“Virat (cricketer Virat Kohli) would be amazing to adventure with — a true heart of a lion and kind spirit,” said Grylls in a conversation with Hindustan Times.

On the other hand, a few years ago, the former India skipper expressed his desire to do adventure sports. However, he maintained that the contract of the Indian Cricket Board doesn’t allow its contracted players to go into adventurous sports. Meanwhile, talking about the Delhi player’s cricket, he has been rested for the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. He has already been rested for the ongoing white-ball series against the West Indies.

A while ago, it was reported that the Indian selectors were looking to play him in the Southern African nation. However, it is now believed that the 2008 U19 World Cup-winning skipper decided to skip the series. Owing to the busy and tight schedule for the Indian team ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup 2022, the fans wouldn’t want him to strain, and feature during the series against Zimbabwe.

He is expected to return for the multi-nation Asian tournament later this month.
