Exclusive! Pankaj Tripathi opens a library in the memory of his late father
Veteran Indian actor Pankaj Tripathi recently lost his beloved father. Now, in the loving memory of his late father, the National Award winning actor Pankaj Tripathi has opened a library at his school located in his village.
Pankaj Tripathi, a renowned actor known for his outstanding acting skills, recently opened a brand-new library at the Higher Secondary School in Belsand, Gopalganj, demonstrating his dedication to education and community development. This sincere initiative honours his late father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari, whose memory he holds dear.
The Gopalganj, Bihar, native Pankaj Tripathi had earlier set out on a mission to revitalise the school where he had obtained his education. He undertook the project with his older brother through the Pandit Banaras Tiwari Foundation charity, a charity created in memory of their dear parents.
A thorough infrastructure renovation for the school was included in the project, which also involved giving the building a new coat of paint and supplying electrical equipment. Due to Pankaj Tripathi’s commitment to sustainable development, eco-friendly solar energy panels were installed, ensuring the school’s independence in terms of electricity and power supply.

In addition to these upgrades, Pankaj Tripathi built a completely furnished library on the school grounds due to his deep love of literature and books. This library now stands as a lighthouse of information, prepared to assist future generations of students. The opening of the library is particularly significant because it occurs at the same time that Pankaj Tripathi has lost his adored father. Pankaj has given the school and its students a lasting gift in remembrance of his father by encouraging a lifelong passion for knowledge and literature.
As Pankaj Tripathi stated, “I aim to foster a lifelong love for education and reading in the hearts of the students of Belsand, Gopalganj, by dedicating this library to the beloved memory of my father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari. The best gift we can give to our future generations is education, and it is an honour for me to support their educational path.”
