South Africa once again won the toss and decided to bowl first in Johannesburg in the third T20I against India. At the toss, Suryakumar Yadav expressed his happiness to bat first, and thanks to his efforts, India scored a very respectable total. They didn’t have the best of starts as Shubman Gill was declared leg before wicket and missed the opportunity to review a decision that may have been reversed. After that Tilak Verma fell on the very next delivery as India needed a big partnership.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Suryakumar came together at the crease, and they immediately got to work. The ball went everywhere once they adapted to the pitch. After Jaiswal ultimately had to go back for sixty, SKY continued to play well. While SKY continued to cruise to another brilliant century, his fourth in T20I cricket, Rinku Singh contributed a little of his own unique style with much needed 14.

Surya could not continue after completing his century as South Africa pulled things back. They were able to restrict India for a good score of 201 in 20 overs. Things could have been much worse for the hosts if it wasn’t for the last two overs which yielded them quite a few wickets.

Indian Bowlers seal epic win in 3rd T20I against South Africa

When Kuldeep picked up a fifer upon his birthday, the Indian spinners struck the last nail in the coffin. David Miller along with Aiden Markram were the only ones to contribute a couple of crucial runs, while the rest simply fell off one by one. South Africa was never involved in the chase as India continued to take wickets consistently.

The pacers were extraordinary at the start of the innings as they brought the momentum into the middle overs of the innings. India won the game by a huge margin of 106 runs in the third T20I. Fantastic victory for India as they would gladly accept this enormous victory. They would not want to think about Suryakumar Yadav’s ankle injury.

With just a few Twenty20 Internationals remaining for both sides before the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean, India would undoubtedly be more thrilled. They now have several possibilities for a select few seats, which is a very good issue.
