As the buzz for the World Cup 2023 heats up the fans have started their preparations along with the team who will be taking part in the competition. The top eight teams have already qualified for the World Cup 2023 which is scheduled to be played on Indian soil later in the year whereas 10 teams are already battling it out for the two spots which are out of grasp in the World Cup 2023.

Recently, the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 Trophy Tour got underway in spectacular fashion, taking off from 120,000 feet above the planet and landing in India’s Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, the biggest cricket arena in the world. The World Cup Trophy was affixed to a specially-made stratospheric balloon to accomplish the feat.

In addition to it, with the help of  4K cameras, the amazing images of the renowned cutlery perched on the edge of the Earth’s atmosphere were recorded. With an air temperature of -65°C at its highest height, the balloon travelled through more than 99.5% of the Earth’s atmosphere. It was indeed a historic event for World Cricket. The historic event was also later tweeted by the secretary of the Indian cricketing board, Jay Shah on his Twitter account.

The World Cup, which will be played across India in October and November, will be counted down by the biggest Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour in history thanks to the space flight. The Trophy Tour, which will stop at places in 18 nations on five continents, seeks to provide one million fans with the opportunity to interact with the priceless cutlery before the eagerly anticipated international event.

The Trophy Tour, which will begin its first major international tour since 2019, will use a number of massive activations at some of the most famous places on earth to recreate the festive feeling and sense of the occasion typical of Cricket World Cups.
