In the last few years, Online abuse has been a common phenomenon on social media. Trolls come up with very nasty opinions which can be vicious, to say the least. Celebrities from all walks of life have been victims of online abuse over the years. Most of them don’t react to it as they consider it a waste of time. They also believe that this is never going to stop so it is easier to ignore, instead of calling the trollers out

One such victim of online trolling is cricketer-turned-commentator from New Zealand, Simon Doull. An Instagram user uploaded a story while mentioning Doull which says that the latter is the worst and most annoying commentator the person has ever seen. Notably, the user runs the fan page of Rahul Tewatia, who is plying his trade with Gujarat this year. After seeing the story, the former Kiwi player decided to call the user out.

He uploaded the screenshot of the message on Twitter. In the caption, he sarcastically wrote that he can’t believe he still gets the commentary contracts even after being so bad. . The former pacer also asked the troll to reveal his identity.

“Hmmm. Should I accept or block. Can’t believe I still get work if I am so bad. Hope your amazing at your job who ever you are. Maybe come out from hiding behind a fake name and we can have a chat about our jobs,” wrote Doull on Twitter.

After the tweet was made, veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle jumped in the support of his fellow commentator. He said that he normally doesn’t react to the trolls but pointed out some of the abuses come from doctors, MBA professionals, lawyers, etc. Bhogle added that if he calls out their comments, their families would be ashamed.

“I don’t normally react but some of the people abusing yesterday were doctors, mbas, lawyers. Their families would have been ashamed of them if they had been called out,” Bhogle said.
