Caribbean Premier League 2022: Squads, Live Streaming and all you need to know

The Caribbean Premier League is all set to return for its tenth season this year. The riveting T20 league will be held from 31st August with the final scheduled to be played on 30th September. A women’s tournament will also be played simultaneously along with the men’s tournament.

St Kitts and Nevis will host the league matches of the tournament while the playoffs will be played at Guyana. The tournament will see six teams competing against each other for the coveted trophy. Defending champions St Kitts & Nevis Patriots will look to defend their title this year.

CPL Format

The top four teams after the end of the league stage will qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams will compete in ‘Qualifier 1’ while the teams finishing at 3rd and 4th will face each other in the ‘Eliminator’. The winner of Qualifier 1 will get a direct entry into the finals while the loser will face the winner of the Eliminator in ‘Qualifier 2’. The winning team from Qualifier 2 will advance to the finals where the winner will be crowned champions.
