Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary Indian batter, has always had a great sense of humour, which he demonstrated once again during some lighthearted banter with former cricketers RP Singh and Aakash Chopra.

Chopra and RP Singh were both commentating in a SA20 game when they discussed the ‘run-out at non-striker’ saga. They also looked at the run-out to see if the bowler used any skill to dismiss the non-striker.

RP Singh recalled a game in which he hit a straight drive that deflected off the bowler and hit the stumps at the non-end. striker’s The non-striker who fell short was none other than the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Aakash Chopra was taken aback and jokingly asked his fellow commentator to apologise to Tendulkar. He also tweeted about it later while sharing the video of the incident. “Sorry again, @sachin_rt paji,” he wrote.

Sachin Tendulkar, in a witty way, agreed that RP Singh’s straight drive disappointed him. He also responded in good humour, claiming that the former pacer used to pick up wickets with the bat. “For once, the straight drive wasn’t my favorite shot! @cricketaakash @rpsingh bhaiyya toh batting karte samay bhi wicket lete the!? (RP Singh bro used to pick wickets even while batting!)” Sachin responded.

Here is Sachin Tendulkar’s hilarious Exchange

In the meantime, India’s three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against New Zealand will resume on Saturday with the second game in Raipur. The hosts edged the Kiwis by a slender 12-run margin in the first game and will be hoping for a more clinical performance this time.

New Zealand, on the other hand, will know that if they continue to compete as they did in the first ODI, they have a good chance of tying the series. Michael Bracewell’s brilliant century in the previous game almost got his team over the line. They would hope for a similar performance this time as well.
