‘Bhai career khattam ho jayega smabhaal ke’ – Fans react as Yash Dayal issues clarification on controversial Instagram story

Yash Dayal of Gujarat Titans could only manage 2 wickets in 5 matches in IPL 2023

Yash Dayal, Gujarat Titans

Yash Dayal has stated that early today, someone gained access to his Instagram account and shared a contentious tale before apologizing for it. Dayal made waves earlier today after cricket fans discovered a contentious Instagram story on his page. On his Instagram profile, he reposted a “Love Jihad” post. Soon after, the post was deleted, and the fans received an apology.

Even if the story was removed after an hour, many cricket enthusiasts had seen it. For the past few hours, Yash Dayal has been trending on Twitter. In a statement to the media, the Gujarat Titans pacer now claims that someone else accessed his account and shared both of the Instagram stories.

“Dear All, There were two stories posted on my Insta handle today – both of which weren’t done by me,” Dayal clarified. “I have reported the matter to authorities as I believe my account is being accessed by someone else and used for posting. I am trying to regain full control of my Instagram account. I respect all communities and the picture shared today does not reveal my true beliefs. Thank You, Yash Dayal,” the pacer concluded.

Yash Dayal had an underwhelming campaign with GT in IPL 2023

The 2023 season was not Dayal’s greatest year professionally. Last year, the left-arm fast bowler won over the public’s admiration with his ability to take wickets and got a call-up to the Indian team. But because he bowled so many expensive spells this year, his performances suffered.

After Dayal let Kolkata Knight Riders hitter Rinku Singh hit five sixes off of five balls, Gujarat Titans even dropped him from their starting lineup. For the final two games of the league stage, he made a comeback before being replaced by Darshan Nalkande in Qualifier 1.

Talking of his team Gujarat Giants, they lost the final against Chennai Super Kings at their home ground Narendra Modi Stadium by 5 wickets. They had to settle for the Runners-up position in what was their second IPL final in two seasons.
