‘Aur Captain saab ka kya?’ – Fans react as few Team India players set to leave for England to prepare for Test Championship final on Tuesday
The final of the Test Championships for the 2021-23 cycle is scheduled to take place in the Oval, London, from June 7 to 11.
Before the Test Championship final versus Australia at The Oval beginning on June 7, the former India captain Virat Kohli is scheduled to depart for the United Kingdom on Tuesday. Along with Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav, and Jaydev Unadkat, the 34-year-old batter will play for the team.
After losing the crucial match against Gujarat Titans on Sunday at M. Chidambaram Stadium, Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Virat Kohli, is currently eliminated from the Indian Premier League. He is now free to compete in the World Test Championship. Based on reports by Sportstar, experts at the National Cricket Academy have deemed Unadkat and Umesh Yadav to be in good physical condition.
Rest of the Players will join the camp after fulfilling their IPL commitments
Mukesh Kumar, a talented pacer from Chennai, will go with Kohli in the first batch, along with three other uncapped pacers: Aniket Choudhary, Akash Deep, and Yarra Prithviraj. They are all included in the reserves. The final of the Test Championships for the 2021-23 cycle is scheduled to take place in the Oval, London, from June 7 to 11. There would also be a reserve day if need be.
Moreover, new rules like the abolishment of soft signals, a mandatory requirement of helmets and protective gear in dangerous field positions and the viability of runs if the ball hits the wickets in a free hit, will all be in place.
After completing his IPL duties, Rohit Sharma will join the team. Therefore head coach Rahul Dravid will have to oversee the training process. KL Rahul, who sustained an injury while playing for India against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, will be missed. Team India named Ishan Kishan as his replacement for the final game.

Good, This will help the players to adapt to the English conditions. It doesn't matter how many league trophies you have, prestige is in winning trophies for your nation.??
