West Indian bowlers made a stirring comeback to breathe life into the Brisbane Test. The second and final Test match saw Kemar Roach and Alzarri Joseph rock the Aussie top–order. Usman Khawaja was the only man who stood up and waged a lone battle with the bat.
Kevin Sinclair making his Test debut proved to be a star with the bat and ball. With the bat, Sinclair scored 50 runs off 98 balls with five boundaries and a six. With the ball, the 29-year-old got the huge wicket of Usman Khawaja to help his team strike gold.
Australia are leading the two-match Test series 1-0 after winning the first game in Adelaide. The two teams will next in a short ODI series to be led by Steve Smith. This will be followed by Mitchell Marsh leading the team in a T20I series.

This was the first Test wicket for the man from Guyana who rushed to his teammates. What followed next was astonishing as Kevin Sinclair did the perfect backflip. The fans and the West Indian players were left stunned by the acrobatics of Kevin Sinclair.
Ending the day at 266/8, West Indies were bowled out for 311 with Kevin Sinclair the last man out. Joshua Da Silva was the top scorer with 79 as Kavem Hodge scored 71 runs. At one stage the visitors were 64/5 before Da Silva and Hodge added 149 for the 6th wicket.
For the Australians, it was Mitchell Starc who led the bowling charts with four wickets. The veteran pacer also went past 350 Test wickets during his bowling spell on Thursday. Nathan Lyon and Josh Hazlewood shared two wickets apiece.
Kemar Roach was breathing fire when he joined forces with Alzarri Joseph to reduce Australia to 54/5. Steve Smith’s struggles as an opener continued as he was out for 6. Marnus Labuschagne was out for 3, while Travis Head was out for a first-ball duck. Cameron Green could score only 8 while Mitchell Marsh was sent back for 21.
Alex Carey began to attack and added 96 runs for the 6th wicket with Khawaja before falling for 65. Pat Cummins kept the scoreboard ticking with yet another Test half-century to frustrate the Caribbean. At the time of writing Australia were 289/9 still trailing by 22 runs.
