WWE all set to acknowledge superstar Seth Rollins’ long-term injury
There are also rumours of Seth Rollins taking on CM Punk during Wrestlemania 30.
Seth Rollins’ situation is dire as a result of an actual injury he sustained this week on WWE RAW. On Monday night, The Visionary suffered an injury while competing for the World Heavyweight Championship against Jinder Mahal.
Rollins reportedly had a partial meniscus tear in addition to an MCL injury. This puts his chances of competing at WrestleMania 40 in jeopardy as he might miss up to four weeks, if surgery is needed.
Seth Rollins’ injury was officially recognised by WWE on the most recent episode of SmackDown. The company also confirmed that Rollins will start RAW next Monday as well as “address his future as World Heavyweight Champion.”
It’s unclear what will happen, but it seems likely that Rollins will give up the World Heavyweight Championship. The Visionary may forfeit the title in order to enter a recovery programme. He might then make a huge comeback in the weeks before WrestleMania 40. As an alternative, Seth may declare that he will keep winning titles as he heals from his injuries.
According to reports, WWE has scheduled a World Heavyweight Championship bout involving Rollins and CM Punk at The Show of Shows this year. Thus, if a modification were to be implemented, it could prove quite disappointing.
Japanese Free agent set to sign with the WWE
According to reports, WWE might be adding another elite free agent as it prepares for the Road to WrestleMania 40. This week, one well-known figure has generated some buzz outside of WWE. Following his announcement that he will be departing New Japan Pro-Wrestling, there has been conjecture about Kazuchika Okada’s potential future.
All Elite Wrestling currently stands as the front-runner to sign the talent, but WWE is also showing a lot of interest, according to a recent Sports Illustrated story. Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso said that Shawn Michaels and Triple H would be interested in hiring the celebrity. According to several people close to NJPW, Okada has long desired to appear at a WrestleMania event, the report continued.
