Golden Globes 2024 – From Oppenheimer to Succession here’s the full list of winners!
At a lavish ceremony held Monday morning at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, the 81st Golden Globe Awards was presented. Watching the Golden Globes this year was about more than just seeing who was in attendance or learning what to expect from the Oscars. This year’s ceremony was dominated by the blockbuster film Oppenheimer by Christopher Nolan and the pop culture phenomenon Barbie portrayed by Greta Gerwig.
Barbie leads the field of nominees with nine, including Best Picture Musical or Comedy, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling for their acting, and three of the film’s original songs. Oppenheimer, however, received eight nominations, including ones for Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Emily Blunt in Best Picture Drama. With nine nominations, Succession is the most nominated television show. Series stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, and Kieran Culkin are among the nominees. Notably, there are 27 first-time nominees for the Golden Globes this year.
