England has announced its Test squad for the series against India. The European side has announced a squad with some new names and a lot of old names, who are on their fourth tour of India in the longest format. Ben Stokes is set to lead England in the Test series. The experienced player is likely to be fit before the start of the series.

The squad of England for the series against India have Ben Stokes (C), Joe Root, James Anderson, Gus Atkinson, Jonny Bairstow, Rehan Ahmed, Zack Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ben Foakes, Jack Leach, Harry Brook, Shoaib Bashir, Tom Hartley, Ollie Pope, Mark Wood, and Ollie Robinson. There are many pacers in the England squad, despite the series being in the subcontinent.

Looks like England is up for the long series of India. The series will be having 5 Test matches. The patience of both the sides will be tested in the series. It will arguably be the biggest challenge of India at their backyard in the last 11 years in Test cricket. England has backed its veterans to do the job in the subcontinent conditions.
