WATCH : Team India pacer Mukesh Kumar dances on regional song at his wedding
Mukesh Kumar will be available for the squad from the 4th T20I in Raipur.
The Indian Cricket Board withdrew fast bowler Mukesh Kumar from the men’s team on Tuesday. This is because he was getting married to Divya Singh yesterday. While travelling back home to participate during the haldi ceremony before the wedding, Mukesh was unable to attend the third T20I match in Guwahati, despite having played the previous two in the present series between Australia and India.
Social media users are enjoying a clip of Mukesh dancing to the hit Bhojpuri song “Lollipop Lagelu” alongside his future bride, Divya.

Deepak Chahar, the pacer, took Mukesh’s spot in the Indian squad. Before the fourth Twenty20 International in Raipur, Mukesh will rejoin Team India. Although he migrated to Kolkata in 2012, 30-year-old Mukesh is originally from Kakarkund in the Gopalganj district of Bihar.
Earlier this year, in a Port of Spain Test match versus the West Indies, Mukesh made his debut for India. On that tour, he participated in the ODI as well as T20I series as well. Even after all this, he was left off of India’s ODI World Cup roster.
When Mukesh joined Bengal for the first time in the 2017 season, the way he was able to swing the ball around instantly won him praise. His tendency to create movement and velocity has made him an invaluable member of Bengal’s bowling unit.
Thanks to his well-received performances, Mukesh has established himself as one of Indian cricket’s brightest young talents. He had the potential to have a major impact on the game’s future.
Australia makes a stunning comeback!
Ahead of the third Twenty20 International, Avesh Khan was named in lieu of Mukesh Kumar as part of the Indian playing XI, who led the five-match series 2-0. Australia crossed the finish line during the final ball of the match, matching Rohit Sharma’s record for the most hundreds (four) in men’s T20 International cricket.
The visitors were chasing a formidable total of 223 after Ruturaj Gaikwad produced his first century in international cricket. Australia had lost the opening two games of the five-match series, but the outcome kept them in the hunt for the series win.
