The incident happened on November 5, 2019, when Kohli had turned 31. The former India skipper had said ‘Thanks Rohit’. This particular tweet from the Delhi-born has now gone viral as Mumbai beat Delhi last night.

Also, not to forget after the Mumbai vs Delhi, the 101-Test veteran put out a tweet thanking the Mumbai-based franchise for helping them out in the time of need. On the other hand, Glenn Maxwell said ‘Well isn’t that just terrific’.

After Mumbai’s win, the three-time finalists will head to Kolkata for the Eliminator against Lucknow on May 25. The Faf du Plessis-led side will be looking to make the most of the fortunes as they will be hoping to lay their hands on the ever-elusive trophy. For this, they would need to win this game at any cost. If they win, they would face the loser of Qualifier 1. It is to be noted that the first qualifier shall see Rajasthan take on Gujarat.
