The Punjab hitter has broken several records in a short amount of time, earning him the tag ‘Prince’. Gill has solidified his position as a format opener ever since completing his international debut in 2022. Let’s take a look at his five most hilarious moments both on and off-field:

In 2022, Sonam interviewed Shubman on a talk show during which she questioned him about his relationship with Sara Ali Khan. She questioned him about the fittest Bollywood actress. Shubman instantly answered and remarked on the name of Sara Ali Khan.
The interviewee asked the young Indian team superstar “Are you dating Sara?”. The batter replied by saying that he might be dating the bollywood actress. The conversation continued by saying that “Sara da sara sach bolo please (Please tell us the whole truth).” Gill replied and ended the conversation by saying, “Sara da sara sach bol reyaan (I am telling the whole truth). Maybe, maybe not.”

Recently, Shubman Gill posted a picture to his Instagram account. The image was taken during a photo session, and Gill gave thanks to the photographer and stylists in the post.
Virat Kohli was quick to comment on the young right handed batter’s posts and asked him from where he had purchased this lovely watch. The prodigy responded to him by saying, “Haha a King gifted me paaji.”

Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, as well as other members of Team India were spotted performing a victory dance to “Kala Chashma,” a well-known Punjabi pop song. After India defeated Zimbabwe in one-day internationals in August 2022, this video was created and released.
Dhawan posted a video of the incident on his Instagram account, and as was to be anticipated, the fans liked the film, giving it close to a million likes within an hour or so.

Gill was heard talking to Ishan Kishan in a video where he said to lick his sweat from under his jersey. He said, “Meri t-shirt hataake, paseena chaatega? [Will you remove my t-shirt and lick the sweat?].” Kishan was amusingly confused by this and replies, “Pagal wagal hai kya? [Are you mad or what?].”

A Shubman Gill video became popular on social media in 2022 as well. In a video, several spectators attempted to talk to the 24-year-old when he was travelling in the team bus.
While this was going on, several of his supporters teased him by stating,“Sachin ka dhyaan rakhna, Sachin ka dhyaan rakhna.” (“Take care of Sachin, take care of Sachin.”) Gill erupted to blush at this point and shut the bus window.
