‘Iss se World Cup jeet jaate hain kya?’ – Fans react to Bangladesh batter working with mind trainer ahead of Asia Cup 2023
The 23-year-old got his debut in international cricket in March of this year but has only played four games since then.
The Asia Cup 2023 begins in just under two weeks and the excitement is there to witness for everyone. The majority of the participating teams are currently in the last stages of preparation. This competition provides an excellent opportunity for Asian teams to evaluate their final lineup prior to the ODI World Cup in 2023. While the players are preparing for the continental match in various ways, Bangladesh star batsman Mohammad Naim Sheikh chose a ‘fiery’ approach.
Sheikh may be spotted walking on fire in a video that has gone viral on social media as part of his ‘mind-training’ for the Asia Cup. The video was shared by Saif Ahmed’s verified account, according to his Twitter bio which reads, “Social Media Manager of @BanglaTigers_ae & @RangpurRiders”
Rayham is a mind trainer who played for the Rangpur Riders during the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) past season. Naim has a dismal international record as of now but has been backed by the team management.
The 23-year-old got his debut in international cricket in March of this year but has only played four games since then. Despite only notching 10 runs across three matches, the Southpaw was recently named for the Asia Cup 2023 squad.
Asia Cup 2023 details!
The tournament is going to be played in a hybrid format this time after Shah said a year ago that India was not going to be coming to Pakistan for the tournament. The tournament will go off on August 30 at Multan, Pakistan, with a match involving Pakistan and Nepal. The much-anticipated India-Pakistan battle will take place on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. On September 4, India will meet Nepal in the final group stage match at the same location.
Pakistan will play host to three group-stage games as well as one Super Four event. The remainder of the event will be held in Sri Lanka. The final will be held on September 17 in Colombo.
The Super Four stage will be played after the top two nations from each group are confirmed. All teams will face each other once in the Super Four stage. The final will include the top two teams from the Super Four stage.
