Sachin Tendulkar files FIR against medical company using his image without permission
A medical company was using Sachin Tendulkar’s image without permission
Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar has filed a case against a medical company for using his images without permission. Apparently, the company made its promotional campaign around him. However, after it came to Tendulkar’s notice, he decided to file an FIR against the company. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed under sections such as 420 (cheating), 465 (forgery) and 500 (defamation) besides the Information Technology Act.
The website was named sachinhealth.in which promoted their products using the 2011 World Cup winner’s face. Meanwhile, the right-hander is working with the Mumbai Indians in the ongoing IPL 2023 as mentor. The team has done well in the ongoing season compared to their nightmarish season last year. MI has won seven games out of 12 games so far. However, they failed to finish their previous encounter against Gujarat Titans the way they would have wanted.
After getting to 218/5, thanks to Suryakumar Yadav’s maiden IPL hundred, they reduced GT to 103/8. The Rohit Sharma-led side had a great opportunity to close out the game early and massively improve their NRR from -0.255 to a positive NRR. However, Rashid Khan’s unbeaten fifty helped the defending champions finish on 191/8. With this, MIs NRR is -0.117 only with two league games left. Their next is against Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow.
