‘It’s becoming a habit again’- Twitter goes crazy as Virat Kohli scores 2nd hundred in three-match series against SL
Former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli continues his prime form in white-ball cricket. Kohli came back into form in the Asia Cup 2022 and has been scoring a plethora of runs, since. India’s run machine is playing another top knock in the ongoing third ODI against Sri Lanka in Thiruvananthapuram.
Kohli came to the crease after Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill had set a great platform for a big score. The duo had added 95 runs for the opening wicket before Rohit Sharma departed. Kohli took only 3 balls before smashing two consecutive boundaries to kickstart his innings in style.
On a wicket that has been a good one to bat on, Kohli has rotated the strike wonderfully and ensured he hit boundaries at regular intervals. He has been scoring runs at a strike rate of over 100. It took 48 innings for him to complete another half-century as the crowd bowed down to India’s sensation.
Thereafter, Kohli hit 5 fours and 1 six and went on to reach his 46th ton in just 85 balls. It has been another top innings for India’s run-machine. The social media has gone crazy with numerous reactions. Here’s a look some of those:

3 centuries in 4 innings, Kohli is on a century spree. The protracted lean patch thing of the past. Would have liked more runs in recent Test cricket though

Virat Kohli like any player may be following a strict diet but centuries remain his staple diet. No 46 for him in ODIs, top knock.
Another ton for the master, well played, @imVkohli! #INDvSL

Earlier, Virat Kohli notched his 45th hundred in the first ODI match against Sri Lanka. He has been in prime form, of late, and this is a big boost for India with ODI World Cup coming this year.
In the Asia Cup 2022, Virat Kohli broke his century drought after smashing his first T20I ton in the match against Afghanistan. He wreaked havoc in the 20-20 World Cup 2022, helping India reach the semi-finals.
He finished the tournament as the highest run-getter, amassing 296 runs in 6 matches at an average of 98.67.
