‘Sport can be a great enabler’ – Sachin shares video of girl outfoxing male batter: Watch

Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar recently shared a video where girls and boys are seen playing cricket together. In the video, a girl, who is a left-arm spinner can be seen bowling to a boy. In the video, the boy is outfoxed by the girl and gets bowled, trying to go for a wild hoick. Tendulkar stated that it is a wonderful feeling to see girls and boys playing cricket together.

The Master added that sport can be a great enabler to promote equality between men and women. Tendulkar lauded the girl for foxing the boy. “Wonderful to see girls & boys play a cricket match together. Sport can be a great enabler for equality. Saw this recently in MIG Club Mumbai. Well done,” tweeted Sachin Tendulkar. This tweet from Tendulkar has received over 11000 likes at the time of writing.

Sachin Tendulkar is currently spending time with the Mumbai team for the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League (ITL). Mumbai is playing against the Delhi side at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

Tendulkar represented the Mumbai team in 78 matches and plundered 2334 runs in his career at an average of 33.83 and a strike rate of close to 120. The legendary cricketer also amassed a hundred and 13 half centuries in the ITL as well.

Tendulkar is considered as one of the greatest batters that the game of cricket has ever seen. In a stellar international career that spanned more than two decades, the ‘Little Master’ scored 34357 runs and an astonishing 100 centuries. He is also the only cricketer to have played 200 Test matches as well. Tendulkar played his final international match for the Indian side in the year 2013.
