Virat Kohli had a touching encounter with Rajkumar Sharma before the Delhi Capitals versus Royal Challengers Bangalore game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Sharma made the journey to the capital’s Arun Jaitley Stadium to watch the game. 

IPL’s official Twitter account posted a video of their encounter, and it rapidly gained popularity. In the footage, Kohli appears to be seen greeting Sharma and giving him a heartfelt hug before caressing his feet. The two appear to be incredibly close, and the video clearly shows how much they care for one another.

Their reunion before the IPL game was significant since it happened in the same place in which Kohli was born and raised and where he first started playing cricket. Kohli has frequently talked about his deep emotional attachment to the Arun Jaitley Stadium and how it retains a special place in his heart.
