Australia and England are facing off against each other in the summit clash of the Women’s World Cup at Christchurch. England won the toss and decided to field first in the match.

Australia amassed a huge total of 356 runs while batting first in their 50 overs. Alyssa Healy played an awestrucking knock of 170 runs off 138 deliveries opening the innings for the women in yellow. She was seen manipulating the opposition bowlers at her will. In the middle order, Rachael Haynes and Beth Mooney accompanied Healy in Australia’s brilliant batting effort. Haynes scored 68 runs while Mooney scored 62 runs and partnered with Healy to take Australia to the massive total.

Alyssa Healy looked to play balanced cricket at the beginning of her innings. She kept rotating the strike and took calculated risks to reach a run-a-ball century in the 35th over of the innings. After this, she just played with the English bowling. She was smashing the ball to all parts at of the ground at her will and scored the last 70 runs of her innings off just 38 deliveries. Notably, Healy’s husband the star Australian pacer Mitchell Starc was seen in the stands applauding her brilliant knock.

The fans went berserk seeing Alyssa Healy batting. They termed it as one of the best knocks to be played in the finals of a tournament. The class that she displayed made many feel privileged to watch her. With the huge total on the board, Australia will now hope that their bowlers win them the final and the 7th title in the process.
