Women’s T20 League Schedule 2023
The Indian Cricket Board has announced the schedule for the inaugural edition of the Women’s T20 League starting from March 4 in Mumbai. The final of the event will be played days before Indian T20 League on March 26. In its inaugural season, the tournament will host t20 league matches and two playoff games over the course of 23 days. The first of four doubleheaders will begin at 3:30 p.m. IST. All evening games will begin at 7:30 p.m. IST. The five-team tournament will be fully played in Mumbai in two stadiums i.e. Brabourne and DY Patil. Mumbai will take on Gujarat in the first game of the season on March 4 at DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai.
According to the schedule announced by the Indian cricket Board three out of five teams will qualify for the playoffs. The team topping the WTL table after the league stage will directly qualify for the finals while second and third-placed teams will face each other in Eliminator before the finals. The 22-game league will have five days off; the first one will be on March 17 and the second will be on March 19. After the league stage is over, the following two are on March 22 and 23.
