Ravindra Jadeja has become one of the best all-rounders in the world in the past few years. The southpaw has made significant improvement in his batting which is evident from his recent batting performances. The 33-year-old has scored two magnificent hundreds in Test Cricket this year. The first came against Sri Lanka in March as he scored an unbeaten 175 and the second one came in July against England at Edgbaston where he scored a magnificent 104 rescuing the Indian innings from the score of 98/5.
During the first Test against Sri Lanka in March, the allrounder came close to etching his name in golden words in the history books forever as he also picked up nine wickets in the match after scoring an unbeaten 175.
Jadeja fell one wicket short of becoming the only player in the history of Test Cricket to score 150 runs and pick 10 wickets in a match. He ended up being the sixth player to achieve the double feat of a hundred and a five-wicket haul in the same Test.
The number one ranked Test allrounder made the headlines again on Tuesday as he liked a Tweet calling him the ‘benchmark for all all-rounders in the world. A Twitter user @Viratkafan23 had tweeted on 25th July that whenever any all-rounder of any country performs well, Ravindra Jadeja ends up being trolled because he’s the benchmark for all all-rounders in the world.
The user Tweeted a screenshot of his Tweet early morning on Tuesday sharing the information that Jadeja had liked his Tweet.
Here’s the Tweet:

The spin all-rounder staged a dramatic comeback in limited-overs cricket following his stupendous knock of 77 runs off 59 balls in the ODI world cup semi-final in 2019. The southpaw has played many game-changing knocks since then and become indispensable in the Indian team across all three formats.
The all-rounder is currently taking part in the five-match T20I series against the West Indies. The series is tied 1-1 after India’s loss in the second T20I last night. The third match of the series will take place today at 9:30 pm.
