WWE Royal Rumble delivered, and Elimination Chamber, the next Premium Live Event, is only three weeks away. The creative team will undoubtedly attempt to build certain storylines from the first episode of WWE RAW following the Royal Rumble that will make Elimination Chamber a must-see event.

The event will take place in Montreal, Canada, and will feature many Canadian Superstars competing in major matches. Fans can also expect at least two Elimination Chamber matches to take place at the show, one for men and one for women. Here’s a look at the five things WWE Elimination Chamber may have in store for fans following the Royal Rumble.

#1 Becky Lynch may form a team to compete against Damage CTRL

Becky Lynch and Bayley were scheduled to compete on RAW before the Royal Rumble. Their Steel Cage match, however, was cancelled, possibly because The Trial of Sami Zayn took up the first half of the show. Damage CTRL attacked Lynch as she entered the Steel Cage match and knocked her out before it even began.

Lynch could team up with Candice LeRae, Mia Yim, or a few other superstars to face Damage CTRL at Elimination Chamber 2023. This could lead to a WrestleMania 39 singles match between Bayley and Lynch, while The Man’s two partners could become IYO SKY and Dakota Kai’s next challengers.

#2 Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley could compete in a blockbuster match

Many die-hard fans once considered the match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley to be a dream match. The WWE Universe even thought the two men would never face each other in the ring. However, at the 2022 Royal Rumble, the two monsters faced off for the first time in a one-on-one match.

The two men are currently tied at 1-1 in their singles competition, and it would be great to see them compete for one more time to see who is the bigger monster in the company. A non-interference match would allow the company to finally put over the better superstar.

#3 GUNTHER could compete in a big match to further build himself

GUNTHER was the 2023 Royal Rumble’s most impressive male superstar. The Ring General was the first to enter and the last to be eliminated in the men’s Royal Rumble match. He lasted over an hour and eliminated five superstars while helping to eliminate many more.

WWE could put him in the Elimination Chamber against five other superstars to defend his title. This would be an excellent way to strengthen the IC Champ’s position on the main roster. He could either defend his title or put on another strong performance to impress fans.

#4 Sami Zayn can face Roman Reigns in a special stipulation match

Sami Zayn had one of the wildest experiences of his career with The Bloodline. He worked with the faction for a long time, and fans wondered when his time with Roman Reigns and his men would end. The match ended at the 2023 Royal Rumble when Reigns faced off against Zayn’s former best friend Kevin Owens.

The stage is set for Sami to have his big moment in Canada, where he could face an Elimination Chamber match. The company may even make it a non-title match between the two superstars while they wait to vent their rage on each other.

#5 An Elimination Chamber match to crown a new WWE Champion

WWE may try to take one of Reigns’ titles before WrestleMania 39. The move allows the company to book two major championship matches for the men on the show, as well as give each brand its own top champion. Instead of forcing Reigns to lose a match to relinquish one of his titles, fans may see him forfeit the WWE Championship because he is simply too dominant to beat.

Before WrestleMania 39, the company could book an Elimination Chamber match to crown a new WWE Champion. Putting the title on Seth Rollins or Drew McIntyre in the future would be a wise move, as both men have proven themselves in the past. The creative team could then book two separate matches at The Show of Shows for the WWE and Universal Championships.
